Who is in the band line‑up and who are the special guests for this AC/DC tour?

Fronted by icons Angus Young and Brian Johnson—who has returned after overcoming hearing issues—the tour features a veteran lineup including Stevie Young (rhythm guitar), Chris Chaney (bass), and Matt Laug (drums).

Johnson recently contributed spirited vocals to Slash’s blues album, Orgy of the Damned, tearing into the classic track, “Killing Floor.” He says, “When Slash asked me to sing on ‘Killing Floor,’ I said yes immediately. It was one of the first songs I learned in my very first band, and when he played me the backing track it was a no-brainer, and Steven’s (Tyler) harmonica is so bloody hot. I had a ball with Slash in the studio, and I think we did this great old song justice. Rock on.”

Joining the band on all dates is Australian punk‑rock powerhouse Amyl & the Sniffers, whose fiery live act has earned international acclaim.

Fan‑first ticketing philosophy

With five stops spanning coast‑to‑coast—including Perth and Adelaide—AC/DC once again shows that fans come first, not just commercial one‑city mega‑profits. Promoter TEG Van Egmond emphasized this, again forgoing VIP packages and dynamic pricing. Tickets are set at an accessible AUD 199 and will go on sale to the public on Thursday, June 26. Adelaide general admissions start at AUD 99, giving fans full motorsport plus rock‑fest access.

Celebrating Power Up and a legendary legacy

This marks the Australian extension of the global Power Up tour—launched in May 2024 in Europe, continuing through North America, and now returning Down Under. The album topped charts across the U.S., UK, and Australia, a tribute to late co‑founder Malcolm Young, and affirming AC/DC’s enduring dominance.

Fans can expect a career‑deep set list featuring hits from all 17 studio albums—from High Voltage to Back in Black and Highway to Hell.

After a decade‑long hiatus from Australian stages—and following major band changes and global tours—this tour represents more than just concerts. It’s a rite of passage for Australian rock fans, a celebration of national pride, and a reunion with one of the world’s greatest rock ’n’ roll bands.

With nine‑day breaks between most shows, rumors swirl about possible additional dates. But for now, the confirmed five-city jaunt promises a monumental homecoming.
