Redefining the parlor acoustic guitar using the world’s greatest electric solidbody—the Gibson Les Paul Standard—as inspiration
Gibson has unveiled the new Les Paul Parlor Acoustic guitar in Vintage Cherry Sunburst and Vintage Sunburst finishes, combining the legendary style of the Les Paul™ Standard electric guitar with exceptional acoustic craftsmanship. The parlor-sized body shape, reminiscent of a scaled-down SJ-200™, features the time-honored Les Paul tonewood combination of a solid mahogany back and sides paired with a stunning solid AAA flame maple top, in this acoustic context supported by traditional scalloped X-bracing. Single-ply cream binding accents the guitar’s elegant look.
Designed for superior playability, the mahogany neck boasts a comfortable Advanced Response profile—a soft V profile that transitions to a C shape further up the neck. This is complemented by a bound rosewood fretboard with a 12-inch radius, 19 standard frets, and iconic pearloid trapezoid inlays. The neck sports a compound dovetail joint. Premium features include a rosewood belly-down bridge and TUSQ® nut, saddle, and bridge pins, ensuring optimal tuning stability alongside nickel-plated Grover® Rotomatic® tuners.

The Les Paul Parlor Acoustic comes equipped with an L.R. Baggs™ VTC+4 under-saddle piezo pickup and active preamp, featuring discreet soundhole-mounted volume and tone controls. Completing the iconic Les Paul aesthetic, and inspired by the Les Paul Standard electric, are the single-ply cream pickguard, a mother-of-pearl Gibson logo, and a gold Les Paul decal on the headstock.
This guitar arrives in a modern hardshell case. It is now available from Gibson.com, at local Gibson dealers and at the Gibson Garage, providing musicians with the perfect acoustic companion to their beloved Gibson Les Paul Standard electric guitar.
