The legendary KRK Systems has unveiled its highly anticipated KREATE Series studio monitors, featuring three versatile models designed for producers, mix engineers, musicians, and content creators. The new lineup supplants the Classic series with additional pro-level features and includes the compact KREATE 3 Powered Nearfield Studio Monitoring System, the robust KREATE 5, and the powerful KREATE 8. Each model integrates over 30 years of KRK innovation, delivering precision, clarity, and outstanding audio performance. The monitors are launching in KRK’s signature black/yellow and latte/black color scheme.
The KREATE 3 system comprises two monitors driven by 65 watts of total power, using three-quarter-inch textile dome tweeters and three-point-five-inch woven glass fiber composite woofers, providing remarkable accuracy and clarity. Equipped with wireless Bluetooth® connectivity, universal inputs, and adjustable tuning controls, the KREATE 3 monitors ensure superior sound reproduction tailored to various acoustic environments.
The KREATE 5 offers enhanced performance with its five-inch composite woofer and one-inch textile dome tweeter, powered by a bi-amped hybrid amplifiers (Class D low-frequency and Class A/B high-frequency) delivering 60 watts of power. With a frequency range extending from 46 Hz to 40 kHz and a maximum SPL of 105 dB, the KREATE 5 stands out as a versatile solution for detailed mixing, production, and critical listening. Its rear-firing port design ensures an exceptional low-frequency response.
What if I need a deeper bass extension and more power?
For those requiring maximum impact and an expansive frequency range, the KREATE 8 monitor delivers 100 watts of power through an eight-inch composite woofer and a one-inch textile dome tweeter. It achieves impressive bass extension down to 40 Hz and supports SPLs of up to 111 dB, making it ideal for demanding production environments and precise audio engineering tasks. Like its siblings, the KREATE 8 includes Bluetooth streaming, boundary and tuning EQ controls, and multiple analog connectivity options.
