Round Hill Records announces Magic Power: All-Star Tribute to Triumph
On June 6, 2025, Round Hill Records will pay homage to one of Canada’s most iconic rock bands, Triumph, with the release of Magic Power: All-Star Tribute to Triumph. Featuring a stellar lineup of rock legends, including Slash, Nancy Wilson, Envy Of None, and Phil X, among others, the album promises to celebrate Triumph’s enduring legacy with a collection of 15 classic tracks.
Renowned producer Mike Clink, known for his work with Guns N’ Roses and Motley Crue, spearheaded the project. No stranger to guest vocalists and high-octane projects, Clink also produced Slash’s blues album, Orgy of the Damned, with a bevy of talent on the mics and released via Gibson Records.
The tribute album will showcase dynamic renditions of Triumph’s hits, with performances from drummers Kenny Aronoff and Tommy Aldridge, and guitarists Bumblefoot, Paul Gilbert, and Nita Strauss. Magic Power will be available on CD with a deluxe 12-page booklet and as a double gatefold LP. Fans can get an exclusive sneak peek now via Sebastian Bach’s rendition of “Rock & Roll Machine.”
Participants in the tribute expressed their excitement, with Phil X noting, “It is incredible to get back to my roots with my brothers.” Journey drummer Deen Castronovo added, “Triumph was a huge influence,” while Sebastian Bach shared, “The music of Triumph will always hold a special place in my heart.”
Founded in 1975 in Mississauga, Ontario, Triumph made their mark with groundbreaking live performances that integrated advanced technology for the time like lasers and pyrotechnics, setting new standards for arena rock shows. Their influence on hard rock music, particularly in North America, remains profound.
For fans of Triumph and rock music enthusiasts alike, Magic Power: All-Star Tribute to Triumph promises to be a nostalgic journey through the band’s illustrious career. To preorder the album and for more information, visit Triumph Music.
