Launching on April 18 at Tankian’s Kavat Café coffee shop/art gallery in Los Angeles, the package will include a signed “Foundations” Les Paul Modern, a signed vinyl copy of Serj’s “Foundations” EP, a signed copy of his memoir “Down With The System,” a signed 18 x 24” museum-quality print of Serj’s artwork “Sunburst, ”and a pair of VIP tickets to an upcoming System Of A Down concert of the purchaser’s choice on one of six dates—two in New York City, two in Chicago, and two in Toronto.

The special limited-edition guitar, with only 25 available, is a Les Paul Modern design with Ultra Modern weight relief, a AAA figured maple top, and sublimation-printed custom artwork based on Tankian’s painting Sunburst—also featured on his Foundations EP cover.

The instrument features a SlimTaper™ mahogany neck, an ebony fretboard with compound radius, Burstbucker Pro™ and Pro+ pickups, and versatile push/pull electronics for coil tap, phase, and Pure Bypass switching. Premium components, including Grover® Locking Rotomatic® tuners, a Graph Tech® nut, and an aluminum Tune-O-Matic™ bridge, round out the build.

Tankian’s memoir, Down With The System, was released by Hachette Books and became a New York Times bestseller. The memoir chronicles his journey as an immigrant, activist, and artist, and offers a spiritual exploration from darkness to light. You can read Down With the System in all formats worldwide here.
