Gibson will host a special launch event for the brand-new Margo Price J-45 on Friday March 14
Gibson will host a special launch event for the brand-new Margo Price J-45™ acoustic guitar on Friday, March 14, at the Gibson Garage in downtown Nashville. The celebration begins at 1:15 pm and includes a live performance and fan signing by multiple award-winning artist Margo Price, a prelude to the release of her first-ever signature guitar.
A limited number of these exclusive Gibson Custom Margo Price J-45 guitars will be available for purchase at the event ahead of their worldwide release on Tuesday, March 18. Handcrafted by Gibson Custom artisans at the Gibson Acoustic craftory in Bozeman, Montana, this beautiful J-45 was created with significant design input from Price, and features a striking red-tailed hawk design on its double pickguards.
The new Margo Price J-45 pays homage both to the history of Gibson craftsmanship and Price’s boundary-pushing musical style, spanning country, Americana, and classic rock influences. Be sure to bookmark the Gibson Gazette—on launch day, we’ll publish not only more details of the guitar, but also an exclusive new interview with Margo herself.
Margo Price has earned widespread acclaim for her honest, genre-blurring music and fearless songwriting that tackles issues from gender inequity to the plight of American farmers. Her most recent album, Strays, is a raw and exhilarating testament to her artistic evolution, delving into themes of personal freedom and societal expectations.
She recently released Strays II, adding nine additional songs to the original tracklist, and partnered with singer-songwriter Billy Strings on the single “Too Stoned To Cry.” Music fans will be able to experience Price’s distinctive sound in person at the Gibson Garage event, which is open to the public.
All who attend the Gibson Garage Nashville event can look forward to an exciting afternoon of live music, the chance to explore a remarkable new guitar model, and a meet-and-greet with an artist whose rise from Nashville mainstay to national sensation has captivated critics and fans alike. As Price continues to break boundaries with her performance style and her commitment to social causes, the unveiling of the Margo Price J-45 promises to be a milestone in a career marked by bold expression and uncompromising creativity.
