One of the most talked-about moments of the 67th GRAMMY Awards came during Chappell Roan’s debut performance of “Pink Pony Club.” In a quest to create a memorable visual spectacle, Roan’s musical director, Heather Brown, and production manager, Joel Eriksson, teamed up and partnered with the Gibson Los Angeles team for a show-stopping accessory—a custom disco ball guitar.

In just three days, the team transformed a Gibson Les Paul Special Tribute into a mirrorball masterpiece by hand cutting, shaping, and gluing glass pieces, resulting in a dazzling instrument that elevated guitarist Andrea Ferrero’s solo into an instant GRAMMY highlight.
